Product details
Air jet yarn is spun so that the fibers are blown together rather than twisted tightly, and the result is a softer, less fuzzy surface than a standard 50/50. That is the whole difference between the Port & Company PC78 and the Gildan, and it costs very little more.
Softer face also means less pilling after washing, which shows up a few months in. Seven and eight tenths of an ounce, 40 colors, sizes S to 4XL. Prints sit flat and clean on the smoother knit. It is still a value sweatshirt: the cuffs and waistband are not as substantial as the heavier Champion options, and you can feel that when you pick both up.
