Silk Touch, the Port Authority K500, is the polo most companies end up with, and the reason is that it does everything adequately for very little money. The pique is 65% polyester and 35% cotton at 5 ounces, which wrinkles less than a cotton polo and holds a pressed look through a shift.
Thirty-seven colors and sizes XS to 4XL make it easy to outfit a mixed staff in one order. The tight pique knit is good ground for embroidery, which is how we decorate polos. It is not a golf shirt: it does not wick much and it will feel warm in August. For outdoor work in summer, the Sport-Tek or Nike options breathe better.
