The Gildan Softstyle, style 64000, is the same idea as their Heavy Cotton in a lighter, smoother shirt. The cotton is ring spun, which means the fibers are twisted finer before knitting, and you can feel that the moment you pick one up. At 4.5 ounces it drapes instead of standing away from the body.
This is the shirt to pick when people will wear it because they like it, not because they were handed it. Prints come out crisp on the smoother surface, fine lines especially. It comes in 75 colors and runs S to 3XL. For heavy outdoor work or anything that gets caught on equipment, the thicker Heavy Cotton holds up better.
